Story

The most recent thing to help shape my life, and my favorite story (because it isn't depressing about a friend dying/friends dropping out of school) is when I went to Bonnaroo. Bonnaroo is a music festival in Manchester, Tennessee and is 4 days long. To sum it up, Its 4 days of no sleep on a 700 acre farm, 100% humidity, and music that goes from noon until whenever the late night bands decide to stop, which was 6am on the friday (technically saturday) night. We got there wednesday night, and got put in our camping spot with our car. we set up and started talking to our tent neighbors. Without going into the details of the music and such, the reason it helped shape my life was because everybody there was so overly nice, it was like a family of almost 100,000 people. I literally didn't meet a single person who wasn't super nice. I changed my outlook on life after I left, and since then I have been much more positive about stuff, and plan to go to Bonnaroo every year as long as I have the resources. Plus, where else in the world can you smoke with two 45 year old dudes while watching NOFX play?
